ABOUT US
Our mission is to bring Cleveland Division One men’s and women’s professional soccer teams to life. Teams that win on the field and make a lasting impact off of it. USL Cleveland exists to unite our city through the world’s game, to create a clear pathway for local players to rise from the neighborhoods and parks of Northeast Ohio to the professional stage, and to deliver a matchday experience that celebrates Cleveland’s pride, grit, and creativity.
We represent the resilience, authenticity, and heart that define Cleveland. From youth development to first-team competition, USL Cleveland will stand as a symbol of opportunity, belonging, and ambition, a rallying point for fans across generations and backgrounds.
Our goal is simple: to be champions for Cleveland, for our city, our supporters, and the next generation who will wear the crest and call this club their own.
FUTURE STADIUM
USL, USL Cleveland and Cleveland State University are partnering to reimagine the Wolstein Center site into a vibrant, mixed-use district anchored by a sustainable, multipurpose stadium. The stadium would be home to USL Cleveland, which has aspirations to play in USL’s division one men’s and women’s leagues. In addition to professional soccer, the stadium would be home to CSU activities as well as serve as a hub for the entire Cleveland community by hosting concerts, festivals, charity events, graduations, and other community events. With year-round programming, the stadium would contribute to the revitalization of downtown Cleveland, drive economic impact and deliver maximum value to CSU.
